For over 12 years, AV1 dive computers have been the silent guardian for technical divers pushing the frontiers of exploration underwater.
OUR STORY: BORN FROM REAL DIVING EXPERIENCE
AVM Dive is not just a manufacturer. We are divers. We are explorers. We are instructors who understand what it means to trust your life to your equipment at 230 meters deep.
Since December 2021, AVM Divetech Ltd., based in Sofia, Bulgaria, holds the full license for production of AV1 dive computers. But our story begins much earlier 2012, when the first AV1 computers started their journey to the most challenging dive sites on Earth.
PROVEN IN THE MOST EXTREME CONDITIONS
AV1 computers have participated in record-breaking dives, ice-cold cave expeditions in the far north, and deep technical dives that test both human limits and equipment reliability.
In 2017, our founder completed an open circuit dive to 233 meters depth in the Aegean Sea with his wife. This dive, which would have been the deepest dive ever for couples, and females at that time. At that dive Michail used two AV1 computers: one as the primary and one for AV1 + one other brand for backups. The computer performed flawlessly under extreme pressure and conditions.
We have tested AV1 in Arctic waters in dive at minus 1.4 degrees Celsius water temperature and minus 42 degrees Celsius air temperature at the polar circle. We have dived with it in tropical waters in the warmest conditions. From ice to tropics, from recreational depths to extreme technical diving - AV1 has never failed.

REAL-TIME DIVE REVIEW ON SURFACE
AV1 has very convenient functions for monitoring the dive directly from the computer screen when we are already on the surface, without using a laptop. This feature is invaluable for immediate debrief with students.
LIFE-SAVING INFORMATION FOR EMERGENCY RESPONSE
In case of a diving accident, AV1 can provide necessary life-saving information to the doctor in the hyperbaric chamber. This data helps determine the most correct treatment regime for decompression therapy in the chamber.
